The Holy Spirit cannot trust us with His confidence, if we betray His trust!

Should a child continue to confide in his or her parents when the parents betray his or her confidence?

 

Will you continue to confide in a friend that has betrayed your confidence?

 

Here are some lessons that I have learned based on the answers I got from the questions above:

 

a)We should forgive and maintain our relationship with the people that betray our confidence always!

 

b)We might no longer trust them to share our confidence with them until probably they change for the better!

 

These lessons apply in our relationship and fellowship with the Spirit of God!

 

The Holy Spirit cannot trust us with His confidence, if we betray that trust!

 

He will definitely forgive us when we ask Him-no doubts!

 

However If  we become more mature and learn to keep His confidence without betraying it any longer, He will restore back His trust in us! Amen.
