Tongues-the pathway to receiving divine knowledge and understanding

For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh  not unto men, but  unto God:
for no man understandeth him; howbeit  in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
(1 Corinthians 14:2 King James Version KJV)

I want you to notice the words that are bold in italics in the above verse of scripture.

These words conveys two facts I want you to notice:

a) When we speak in tongues, we speak to God
b) We speak mysteries to God when we speak in tongues

In a nut-shell, when we speak in tongues, we are communicating  mysteries or divine secrets to God!

Let us read from the book of  Isaiah Chapter 28:9-12 (NKJV):

“Whom will he teach knowledge?
And whom will he make to understand the message?
Those just weaned from milk?
Those just drawn from the breasts?

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept,Line upon line,
line upon line,Here a little, there a little.”

For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people,
To whom He said, “This is the rest with which You may cause the weary to rest,
”And, “This is the refreshing”;Yet they would not hear.
(Isaiah Chapter 28:9-12 NKJV)

I want you to notice the four questions in italics that prophet Isaiah asked about God in Isaiah 28: 9 NKJV:

a)Whom will he (God)  teach knowledge?
b) and whom will he( God) make to understand the message?
c) Those just weaned from the milk?
d)Those just drawn from the breasts?
(Isaiah 28:9 NKJV)

The answer to these four questions are revealed in Isaiah 28:11 in italics:

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he (God ) speak to this people.

In other words  prophet Isaiah was saying that God will teach  His people knowlege and make them understand  His message through stammering lips and another tongue.

In summarizing isaiah 28:9-12, we learn the following:

a)The Holy-Spirit teaches us the knowlege of God
and makes us to understand God's message or doctrine as we speak in tongues!

b) God speaks to us when we speak in tongues. ( Isaiah 28:11).

Oh! The Wonders of our God!
