When a man of God makes himself out to be the "star character" in ministry instead of making Jesus his STAR CHARACTER and BOSS, he will shift the attention of God's people to himself instead of on the Lord Jesus-Christ!

 

Promoting Jesus should be at the center-stage of our life and ministry!

 

When people attend our meetings, they should see Jesus honored and glorified because He is the one we are called to promote!

 

If we glorify Him, He will draw men to Himself!

 

...let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; ( Hebrews 12:1 -2)

 

A Question for Men and Women of God 

 

Is Jesus honored and glorified in your speech or preaching?

 

Or are you leaving people with the impression on how great and powerful you are as a man or woman of God?

 

Do not forget that everything we have in this life,including our ministry gifts, talents and abilities are gifts from a loving God!

 

Your calling as a Man or Woman of God is a gift from God!

 

Purpose in your heart to henceforth stop drawing attention to yourself but to point men's attention to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ!

 

Promoting Jesus should be at the center-stage of our life and ministry!

 

When people talk about the tailored suit on your back or the worth of the shoes on your feet or the sleekness of the car that you ride on, or the cost of the Rolex watch or diamond ring in your hand, I believe they have missed a very important point in your delivery as a man or woman of God!

 

What they talk about is where their attention is!

 

Help them make a shift!

 

Do your best to point men and get their attention focused on Jesus who gives us richly everything to enjoy!
