The Bible Principle of long life

And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.( Genesis 5:27)

The years of our life are seventy,    or even by reason of strength eighty;yet their span[a] is but toil and trouble;    they are soon gone, and we fly away. (Psalm 90:10 ESV)

Long life on earth begins from 70 years and extends beyond 969 years which was the age of methuselah...the oldest man that lived and died on earth!
